Hair Care Guide

Protect the Investment

Our 100% human hair is built to last. Share this routine with your clients to help them protect their investment and keep every install looking salon-fresh.

01
Wash & Condition
Detangle gently before washing. Use lukewarm water with a sulfate-free shampoo, working from roots to ends. Follow with a moisturising conditioner and rinse thoroughly.
02
Dry With Care
Blot excess water with a microfiber towel — never rub or wring. Air dry when possible, or use a blow dryer on a cool/low heat setting with a heat protectant applied first.
03
Style Smart
Always apply a heat protectant spray before flat irons, curling wands, or blow dryers. Keep heat tools under 350°F (175°C) to preserve the cuticle and shine.
04
Store Properly
Store units on a mannequin head or wig stand in a cool, dry place. Braid or loosely plait bundles before bed to prevent tangling and matting.
Do
  • ✓Detangle from ends to roots with a wide-tooth comb before washing
  • ✓Use sulfate-free, alcohol-free products formulated for human hair
  • ✓Deep condition weekly to maintain softness and shine
  • ✓Advise clients to sleep with a silk or satin scarf, bonnet, or pillowcase
  • ✓Recommend professional install and takedown for lace units
Don't
  • ✕Don't let clients sleep with wet or damp hair — it encourages tangling and matting
  • ✕Don't use high heat settings above 350°F (175°C) without a protectant
  • ✕Don't brush aggressively through knots — always work them out gently
  • ✕Don't use regular drugstore shampoo loaded with sulfates and alcohol
  • ✕Don't store stock in direct sunlight or humid, unventilated spaces

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will this hair last with regular use?+

With proper care, our 100% human hair can last 12–24 months of regular wear, and even longer with minimal, occasional use — a strong retention point for client retail sales.

Can clients dye or bleach their hair?+

Yes, our hair can be coloured, toned, or bleached since it is 100% human hair. We recommend this be done by a professional stylist to protect the cuticle and avoid overprocessing.

How often should a unit be washed?+

For units worn daily, wash every 2–3 weeks. For occasional wear, washing after every 8–10 wears is generally sufficient.

Can clients swim or exercise in their hair?+

Yes, but advise rinsing with fresh water immediately after swimming to remove chlorine or salt, and braiding or tying back hair during workouts to reduce friction and tangling.

What products should be avoided?+

Avoid sulfate and alcohol-heavy shampoos, heavy oils applied at the roots of lace units, and excessive heat without a protectant — all of these shorten the lifespan of the hair.
